Description

The prefect shoulder excercise machine, helps to stablilise the rotator cuff muscles after shoulder surgery.
$1400 + postage and handling $45  [all states except WA]  [$25 in WA]

With this machine the athlete can excercise the important muscles of the shoulder – the rotator cuff. The rotator cuff muscles are important in stabilising the shoulder especially after shoulder surgery.

The advantage of this machine over the traditional methods of pulleys and rubber bands are:

1. Easily change between doing resisted internal and extrenal rotation.
2.The ammount of resistance can be easily changed and recorded by adding the weight discs to the arm machine.
3. The design of the machine allows internal and external rotation to be done in varying degrees of abduction (arm away from the side). This is very important as it allows a gradual progression from arm by the side to arm above the head.

Shoulder problems are common in both elite and recreational athletesa dn I would recommend this machine for preventing shoulder problems as well as rehabilitating asfter injury. Therefore it would be a useful addition in any physiontherapy practice or gym.

Chris Barret, the physiotherapist for the West Coast Eagles Football Club says: “I have used this machine to succesfully rehabilitate the injured shoulders of several West Coast Easgles players, including Michael Gardener, Callum Chambers and Chris Mainwaring.”
