We are proudly owned and Australian made with all our products designed and manufactured in Perth, Western Australia. Our products have all been carefully designed and built aesthetically to suit the activity that it’s required to perform. Our custom made products range from different sized rebound nets to bump pads to suit many contact sports such as AFL, NRL etc.We cater for other sports but the reals advantage is our products can be used by anybody who is looking to upskill or improve their game.
Contact Sports Equipment was established back in 1987 by Gary Greer. Gary’s inquisitive & creative mind led him to design many items which eventually led him to this niche business. At the time of creation his focus was to give players an edge with their training hence the rebound nets and bump and tackle bags and pads. Being a past footballer himself for the South Fremantle Football Club, Gary knew there was room for these products. His goal wad to have the coaches use these for training drills and and ultimately the players use these in their own time to gain further improvement. This past time hobby quickly became a niche business. Now Gary supplies many of the AFL Clubs with rebound nets, bump & tackle pads who all consider these products the best in the business. Contact Sports Equipment also supplies other local teams and schools throughout Australia setting them up with the best user friendly products to have on hand.

The mastermind behind these great fabulous products. Gary has been designing and making these products since 1987. Gary has be worked with many AFL clubs supplying them for past 15yrs. Gary also has a role at the West Coast Eagles where is assists at training and performs jobs around the change rooms when required.
Gary is a proud Western Australian.He and his wife Maureen now love to spend time with their grand kids.
Gary continues to be passionate about AFL and hopes to have more schools, teams and individuals using his products.
Brent Staker

Brent hails from a small town in country NSW called Broken Hill where he grew up. His professional sporting career spanned 13years, 7yrs with the West Coast Eagles and 6yrs with the Brisbane Lions. During his time at the eagles Brent forged a solid relationship with Gary. Brent now resides in Brisbane. He is an assistant coach for the Brisbane Lions AFLW team and works as an agent for LRFsport.
Brent’s strength for building relationships and social engagement will be used to create further interest with this business.
